By using BandMath, you agree to abide by our terms. We provide tools to help bands manage finances, but you are responsible for the accuracy of your own ledger.

Data Protection & GDPR Rights​

We respect your privacy and are fully committed to complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). When you use BandMath to manage your band's financial ledger or process fan transactions, you (the band) act as the "Data Controller" of your fans' data, and BandMath acts strictly as the "Data Processor" providing the software infrastructure. You must obtain explicit consent from your fans before using their data for marketing purposes. You and your fans have the right to access, rectify, or request the deletion of personal data (the "Right to be Forgotten"). For more details, please review our Privacy Policy.

Payment Processing & Point of Sale​

BandMath provides software that allows bands to accept payments in-person using Stripe Terminal via Tap to Pay on iPhone and Tap to Pay on Android. All financial transactions are processed entirely by Stripe, Inc. BandMath does not charge a platform fee on these sales, nor do we store, process, or transmit raw credit card data. By using the point-of-sale features, you agree to the Stripe Connected Account Agreement (or applicable Stripe Services Agreement).

You acknowledge that you are solely the "Merchant of Record" for all merchandise sales. As such, you are 100% responsible for the fulfillment of goods, handling refunds, and resolving any fan disputes or chargebacks. BandMath assumes zero liability for fraudulent transactions, hardware failures, or lost revenue. Furthermore, you agree not to use the BandMath point-of-sale system to sell any illegal goods or items that violate Stripe's restricted business policies.

User Uploads & Content​

Our platform allows you to upload photos and documents for receipt tracking. You retain full ownership of any files you upload. By uploading a file, you grant BandMath a license strictly to host and display that file within your account. You agree not to upload any content that is illegal, highly explicit, or infringes on the intellectual property rights of others. We reserve the right to remove any files that violate these terms.

Apple Disclaimers​

Tap to Pay on iPhone requires a supported payment app and the latest version of iOS. Update to the latest version by going to Settings > General > Software Update. Tap Download and Install. Some contactless cards may not be accepted by your payment app. Transaction limits may apply. The Contactless Symbol is a trademark owned by and used with permission of EMVCo, LLC. Tap to Pay on iPhone is not available in all markets. For Tap to Pay on iPhone countries and regions, see developer.apple.com/tap-to-pay/regions.

Apple Pay is a service provided by Apple Payments Services LLC, a subsidiary of Apple Inc. Neither Apple Inc. nor Apple Payments Services LLC is a bank. Any card used in Apple Pay is offered by the card issuer.

Subscriptions & Billing​

Payments for Pro Tier and Bootstrappers Club memberships are non-refundable unless explicitly stated otherwise. We reserve the right to modify our pricing, but active lifetime memberships will be honored. All disputes involving consumers will be subject to the competent courts of the consumer's domicile, and we do not enforce mandatory arbitration for consumers.
